Between games at El Camino College. Scott and I drove straight from the band tournament to Anaheim to stay in a Holiday Inn Express with his volleyball club team, called Epic, which was in the middle of their first weekend tournament of the season. This is the scene between games, with players and parents milling around, coach on the phone, outside of the college gym. The relatively new team didn't do so well against the more established competition, but it was fun to watch and they seem to have lots of potential. The main thing is that Scott and his teammates are playing and improving in the off-season. It was a long weekend, with the band tournament on Saturday and volleyball on Sunday, all in the LA area.
