This is my favorite spot for grading chemistry labs and exams. It's the highest spot in and at the far end of a parking lot right next to the beach. Usually, because of the $6/day fee, the lot is nearly empty, but for a few cars like mine with annual passes that go for $125/year. I can see the ocean, but not the beach, and the sun isnt' too bad, except in the late afternoon just before sunset. I've been quite productive here.
