Point Loma's baseball team opened the season with a lopsided 11-2 win over the Oregon Tech Owls, who committed seven errors in the game. This is the second-baseman, Tyler, one of my former chemistry students, hitting a double into the left field gap at Carroll Land Field overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
