Yesterday I attended the celebration and awards ceremony for the student employee of the year at Point Loma. These are the nominees and the employers who nominated them. Noelle, the girl in the yellow near the middle, won the award, but they're all winners, having been chosen from a total of nearly 1,000 students who work on campus. I was the faculty representative on the six-person selection committee. We read all 16 nomination packages and chose the winner of the award.
