Scott's is learning about haiku in school these days, and his teacher has asked each student to write one. I hoped to inspire him by coming up with a few of my own. Click here to see some of my suggestions or contemplate Hiroshige's view of Fuji to help come up with ideas of your own.

Just in case you've forgotten, here's a good way to remember how to write a haiku ...

The standard haiku
Has seventeen syllables
And mentions nature
