1 October 2001

I spent most of today at the Corona Airport, which is about 85 miles north of our house, along Interstate 15. Steve, Greg, and I were doing an environmental assessment. The airport is in the Prado Flood Control Basin, owned by the Corps of Engineers, our customer.

Corona airport has hundreds of small hangars with small airplanes in various states of repair. Sometimes, all one sees is airplane parts. We'll be working there all week long. I'm back home after driving back down to teach my class. Gotta get back up there soon. We start again at 0730.
