Matt played in another marching band tournament tonight. His band placed first with this performance. Matt is clearly visible in this photo: he is the second from our left in the row of six kids standing behind the rest of the band.

Per our doctor's orders, Matt has not been able to march since he broke his neck back on September 1st. He's nearly healed now, but is not taking any chances. One sousaphone player fell during this tournament, providing evidence that this activity is not as safe as it looks.
