Carl's Jr has had some odd commercials. This one got my attention as I watched it during the NBC Today Show on Tuesday morning. The girls is riding a mechanical bull and eating a Western Bacon Six Dollar Burger ... something you don't see every day. In fact, mechanical bulls or their riders have never interested me much at all, and I rarely eat hamburgers (maybe one or two per year, if that many). Still, this commercial worked. I went to Carls Jr to try one of the burgers tonight and ate it in the stadium at the marching band rehearsal. It was great. Now, was it the commercial or the burger that made it taste so good?
