I went for my usual run down the beach to Flat Rock today. Usually, it's a 2.1-mile run, but the tide was so low and the beach so pretty today that I just kept on going, all the way down to the path that leads up to the glider port, roughly two and a half or three miles south of my starting point. Fortunately, I was able to make it back. My feet hurt a bit, but I didn't stop running (or trotting,.. or plodding, as some would have it). After the run, I drove up the hill to take a few photos in the park. This is one of them, taken through my car's front windshield on my way back down the hill.
