Here's Matt after our Saturday evening run at Torrey Pines. The view behind him shows Black Mountain, which actually looks darker than the rest of the hills, in the distance. We live just south of Black Moumtain. It's about 10 miles away from Torrey Pines State Reserve, which is right on the beach.
