If this isn't a good enough reason to take public transportation, I don't know what is. Scott got his official learner's permit yesterday afternoon. We all piled into the Mazda Tribute to witness his first experience on California roadways, but Susan decided she wasn't quite ready, so we drove her home and went out again. He wasn't bad at all, really. He even ordered dinner at a drive-thru restaurant before returning us safely home. We'll start on the manual-shift Honda Civics today.
