On Wednesday of last week, Kyle arranged a very late birthday party for me at the office. It's our tradition to celebrate each person's birthday with a little cake, candles, card, and singing in the conference sometime during the afternoon. Each of us signs up for someoby else's party around teh beginning of the year. They party giver needs to get the food, make sure there are enough candles around, and buy and circulate the card, so people can write humorous notes.
