Mom and Dad dropped of a few suitcases on the day before they actually left. It saved them some time, so they wouldn't need to get up so early in the morning. Here's Mom outside the station with an Amtrak brochure. Dad took a while inside upgrading their seats for the ride up to Los Angeles.
