Ostriches on a farm in the San Pascual Valley. Scott and I stopped here to take a few photos on our way back from the San Pascual Battlefield last Saturday. Many of the birds walked over to us, perhaps thinking that we had food for them, perhaps just out of curiosity. A few of the farm stands nearby sell ostrich eggs and ostrich jerky. We tried the latter, teriyaki style. It wasn't bad, but the flavoring was so heavy that we couldn't really taste the meat.
