Mom and Dad are heading west for a week in San Diego. They left Worcester Wednesday afternoon, then transferred to the Southwest Chief Thursday at 3:15 pm. On Friday, they'll be traveling through Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. We'll pick them up from the San Diego station on Saturday, just before noon.

According to amtrak.com, as of 7:30 Friday morning, the Chief is running about an hour late. We're looking forward to a nice visit.
