Scott recommended Taco Surf, a roadside stand on the coast highway in Rosarito, as serving the best tacos he'd ever tasted. Steve and I, with our two backseat passengers, Joan and Nabih, went up to the counter and didn't quite know what to say. I managed to communicate with the cook and order one pork and one beef taco for each of us. I liked the pork variety better, and got a third one of those. We tried sitting down on a nearby wall to eat our tacos, but ended up standing so that the rather large bugs that were crawling around couldn't crawl up our backs. The food was good, but not the "best I've ever tasted." The tacos must have tasted a lot better for Scott after a long day of surfing.

The rollover image is a giant statue of Jesus that Scott and his friends told us to look for in order to find Taco Surf. We had no idea it would be so huge!
